Continue on a short distance to the club house.

November 8, 2011 - Farlow's on the Water, 2080 S. McCall Road, Englewood.  Cocktails in the Garden at 5:00pm.  Dinner on the Patio at 6:00pm.  This is a delightful Englewood restaurant noted for its Tropical Cuisine. There will be a wine special. September 20, 2011 - Santhino's, 615 Cross Street, Punta Gorda.  Santhino's is offering a selection of a dozen Early Bird Specials for $15.00. These Entrees come with a salad and bread. August 17, 2011 - Lemoncello's in Punta Gorda.  Cocktails at 5:00 and dinner at 6:00.  Make reservations with Judy by Aug. 15th.  Lemoncello's is offering a $29.00 "Dinner Special for Two" that includes two entrees, a choice of soup or salad and a bottle of House Wine.  The entree choices are:  Chicken Marsala, Chicken Parmigiana, Egg Plant Parmigiana, Broiled Fish in Wine and Garlic Sauce, Lasagna, Penne al Forno, Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken, or Pasta with Meatballs or Sausage. No jeans or shorts.  Take 41 north, past the Old World Restaurant, to Sumpter Blvd. Take a right, one mile later take a left on Heron Creek. Tell the Guard that you are attending a function at the Club House. Because of the large number of members we expect for this dinner we will order from a Limited Menu, offering a variety of selections. November 16, 2010 -   Lock 'N Key Restaurant & Pub, 2045 N. Beach Rd., Englewood.  Directions:  Take U.S. 4l (Tamiami Trail) north to El Jobean/Veterans Blvd.,  turn left toward Englewood.  This is route 776 which changes names several times.  Just continue on to Beach Rd. (a long way) McDonald's is at that intersection.  Turn left. Proceed on Beach Rd. over a bridge to a round-about.  Stay right and the restaurant is visible from there.  Cocktails at 5:00PM with dinner to follow at 6:00PM at Happy Hour is in the bar.  If you choose to have a drink in there, you will be given a Tab w/3  choices.  Select a  Tab and whatever price is revealed will be the price of your drinks.  Of course, reduced prices are in order.  You could even get a drink for $.50, yes I was told, 50 cents.  Those drinks are to be consumed in the bar.  For reservations contact Jeanne & John Kapps at  jrkapps@embarqmail.com or 941-575-9966.

Theater:  Historic Arcade Theater, Ft.Myers. The River "Historic" District Theater faces river, on Bay St. between Hendry and Jackson, a lavender and turquoise building.
