GETTING DOWN TO BRASS TACKS: Hello out there!  Are you enjoying Floridian membership as much as I am?  The Floridian Board hopes that you’re finding activities that fit your style.  We want to keep it that way.  Help us?  The nominating committee is forming to propose officers and committee people for 2011.  It’s not a huge commitment because there are many of us to help.  Even if you are absent for a period of time, you can help because there’s always someone willing to step in. You can tell from the length of our business meetings (ten to twenty minutes max!) that when things are well organized.  Let Judy Berger or any Board member know of your interest.  We need you and appreciate that new ideas make a more energized club.

IT’S NEVER TOO LATE!

Joining the Floridians is easy.  Come to any scheduled event and tell us you’re interested or fill out and mail the membership form or contact Mary Mazur(373-1074).  We have a spot for you!

CALLING ALL READERS!

If you’ve been hankering to join a book club, contact Kathy Schindler (575-6309).  Sounds like there might be enough interest to start another group.
